Curing and wear time
How long should the gel polish be cured?

30 seconds in a Nail Systems LED lamp or 60 seconds in another LED lamp. Cure each layer separately and keep the layers thin, a thick layer cures less well.

What makes the gel polish last longer?

Most of it comes down to prep. Clean thoroughly and remove dry dead skin and nail cells before you start. Apply a thin layer of base gel, for example Rubber Base or Prime & Perfect Base, and cap the free edge in every layer. Finish with a top coat.

Why does it lift or wrinkle?

Wrinkles usually come from a layer that is too thick or a curing time that is too short. Lifting at the cuticle often means the gel polish touched the skin or the prep missed something. Leave a small margin to the cuticle and check that the curing time suits your lamp.

How do I remove the gel polish?

The gel polish is soak-off. File off the surface and soak off the rest, so you avoid filing down to the natural nail.
