Service – Filtronics

NOTE! Never modify the filter unit. Repairs must only be carried out by personnel trained in Filtronics products. If the unit is not working, check that the power supply is correctly connected.

To ensure reliable operation, the main compact filter must be replaced at least once per year – or sooner if air quality limits are exceeded in your workspace.

Filtronics Beauty Line Exclusive

A: Red light + alarm (low suction): Press the black button for 10 seconds until a beep is heard. Check the nozzle and extraction arm and clean if needed. If the light comes back after 5 minutes → the filter is worn out. See "filter replacement" below.

B: Red light blinking + alarm (filter time exceeded): Reset by holding the black button for 10 seconds until a confirmation signal is heard.

IMPORTANT: The alarm only monitors the pre-filter and particle filter. The gas filter may need to be replaced earlier – if smell breaks through, change it even if there is no alarm. If the unit is rarely used, the main filter should still be replaced yearly to maintain gas separation efficiency.

REPLACING THE PRE-FILTER

1. Turn off the unit.
2. Open the locks and lift the lid.
3. Remove the pre-filter by pulling the black connection tube.
4. Insert a new pre-filter.
5. Close the lid and lock it.
6. Reset the alarm (see A above).
7. If the alarm continues → replace main filter (see below).

REPLACING THE MAIN FILTER

1. Turn off the unit.
2. Open the locks and lift the lid.
3. Remove the main filter.
4. Label the new filter with the current date.
5. Insert the new filter and close the lid.
6. Reset alarm by holding black button for 10 seconds (see A).
7. Regularly clean the nozzle, arms and connection tubes.

Filtronics Beauty Line

C: Yellow light blinking (filter time exceeded): Turn off power. Turn it on again while holding both + and – buttons until a beep confirms reset. Wait 5 seconds, power off, then power back on.

D: Red light + alarm (low suction): Silence alarm by pressing the + button. Turn off the unit. Check nozzle/arm for blockages. If the alarm returns after restart → replace filter.

REPLACING THE MAIN FILTER

1. Turn off the unit.
2. Open the front by lifting straight up.
3. Disconnect tubing. The arm may stay attached.
4. Remove the old filter.
5. Label the new filter with the date.
6. Insert the new filter, push tubes all the way in.
7. Close the front panel.
8. Reset alarm (see step C above).
9. Clean nozzle and tubing regularly.

Filtronics Eyelash

A: Red light + alarm: Press black button for 10 seconds to reset. Check and clean. If light returns → replace filter.

B: Red blinking light + alarm: Hold black button for 10 seconds to reset filter monitoring.

REPLACING THE PRE-FILTER

1. Turn off the unit.
2. Open the locks and lift the lid.
3. Remove and replace pre-filter.
4. Close lid and reset alarm (see A).
5. If alarm persists → replace main filter.

REPLACING THE MAIN FILTER

1. Turn off the unit.
2. Open the locks and lift the lid.
3. Remove old filter.
4. Label the new one with date and insert.
5. Close the lid and reset (see A above).
6. Clean nozzles, arms and tubing regularly.
